Not quite the Hollywood drama snow storm snopocalypse that was promised! I must admit I am somewhat disappointed.
winter

Puddle Hockey anyone?
This is not how I expected to find the skating rink at the end of January!

After a week in Toronto it’s still winter here!
It’s been getting warmer but not enough to melt all the snow in time for Easter. Last year we were out on the deck.

Proud. Really proud! #parenthood
He’s good. And his perseverance is amazing!
I did a few runs with him too but he’s going to be better than me soon.

This is your sidewalk. And this is your sidewalk with a broken water main at 20 below!
A water main broke and flooded a couple intersections. The city cleaned up the street but the sidewalks still need work.

That’s in fahrenheit! #cold #skiing
It’s the coldest day of the winter and we’re out skiing, and then on our way to an outdoor winter festival and hockey tournament!

Steak time
The coldest, snowiest night of the year. But there’s only one way to cook steak!
That was interesting trains ride (yes, plural) this morning!
The AMT switched tracks, twice. Then cancelled the train I was in and had everyone get off and wait for another train (on another track) which was already full so they kept telling us to get off and wait for the next train!

The real Canadian Master Chef challenge!
The snow and freezing rain combined to make Sunday steak dinner a bit more challenging this evening, the first of the year.
