Backyard artificial ice hockey rink
Ok. So it’s just a piece of MDF shelf board, but he was out there for quite a while practicing.
And yes, I know I need to mow the lawn.
The rink is done!
The warm weather has very quickly reduced the rink to a large mushy puddle. We’ve still tried to play a few games but we need to use a ball, preferably one that doesn’t absorb water.
The backyard rink may yet survive one more game!
But probably not much more than that considering they are only forecasting lows of 1 degree this week.
If you drop the puck and it goes SPLASH that means the end of the backyard rink.

It’s the coldest day of the winter and we’re out skiing, and then on our way to an outdoor winter festival and hockey tournament!
